Many of us feel the pressure to be and do more—we need greater intelligence in the face of AI; influencers are trumpeting hacks for maximizing our limited time so that we can have a body or skin or career or living room that everyone envies; even churches can pressure us to excel at spiritual practices and social justice and financial generosity.
It seems like the message being delivered from multiple fronts is the same: there's no limit to who you can be and what you can do.
What happens when we stop trying to be more than human and allow our limitations to become the place where God's power meets us? How does humbly accepting our created-ness help us cooperate with the Spirit's activity in us and through us?
