Whether you're going solo or coming with your family, there's a place for you here.
When you arrive at Mars Hill you’ll be greeted with the sound of music and the smell of delicious coffee. We gather to connect with other Jesus People For The Sake Of The World in a relaxed environment as we sing, pray, and learn more about our great God for about 75 minutes. All are welcome.
Our kids programs are a fun and energetic place for growing friendships and building a foundation of faith that will last a lifetime. Program is offered for newborns all the way to 5th grade during the Gathering.
ExploreOur Gatherings are usually 1 hour and 25 minutes.
We offer programming for newborns through 5th grade. Preschoolers and above will worship with parents during the Gathering and then head back to our Kids area for program. Mars Hill Students meets at 4:30pm during the school year for Echo [Middle School] and Anthem [High School].
The Eucharist [communion] is celebrated every Sunday, usually following the Teaching. Bread and juice [all gluten free] are available on self-serve tables.
We have baptisms typically on Easter Sunday. A baptism class [required] is held a few weeks prior to Baptism Sunday.
Those are prayer walls, built by our staff and volunteers, for the Mars Hill community to submit prayer requests in on Sunday mornings. The prayers are collected and prayed for by the staff during the week.
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, come to our Welcome Center on a Sunday morning and talk to the friendly folks there about getting involved, look around on these website pages, or contact us directly at info@marshill.org or 616-249-3337. Another great way to get to know others is through volunteering and there are lots of opportunities for you to explore at marshill.org/volunteer.
Call us during regular business hours, 616-249-3337, or email us at info@marshill.org and someone will get back to you within 1 business day.
Join us for weekly worship on Sunday at the beginning and end of each Gathering. Songs are led live by our in-house band and reflect a contemporary style. Feel free to sit, stand, or pray. We belong to something bigger than ourselves.
