In a culture steeped in despair, apathy, and boredom, the promise of new life can feel distant at best. Yet each spring the stone is rolled away, reminding us that— He Is Risen! Resurrected! Alive! What does this mean? How then are we supposed to live in light of this? Can the resurrection of Jesus lead us to experiencing more life now? Instead of newsfeeds and social media, let’s take our cues on what it means to be fully human, from the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. By looking at lives of Jesus’ followers after his resurrection, we’ll discover how to press into the hope of resurrection not only for tomorrow, but also glimpses of it today.
