The Immigration Experience

Join us for an immersive, intergenerational Learning Lab as we continue our ongoing conversation on the U.S. immigration system.

Whether you attended last year’s Learning Lab or are joining us for the very first time, this interactive simulation offers a unique, hands-on look at how the legal process functions on the ground.

You will receive a real-life family identity and attempt to navigate the legal steps, barriers, and decisions faced by individuals seeking legal status—with our Students Ministry stepping into the roles of officials and agency workers.

Designed to move past political talking points and focus on the rule of law, the experience will be followed by a community dinner and an open, fact-based Q+A with immigration attorney Josh Mikrut, founder of New Liberty Law and member of our Mars Hill church community.

No prior knowledge or past attendance is required—just an open mind and a desire to learn together in a welcoming space.

Dinner will be provided.

DATE: Sunday, November 8

TIME: 4:30-6:30pm
