Embrace Snack Drive

With food pantries across the country facing shortages, we’re stepping up to help right here at home.

Every month, Mars Hill’s Embrace Ministry hosts Community Days—fun, welcoming afternoons created especially for individuals and groups in the disability community, but open to everyone who wants to join in.

You’ll often find this crew singing karaoke, practicing yoga, playing games, or painting masterpieces. But this November, as we give thanks for all we’ve been given, our Community Day is all about giving back by assembling snack packs for Hand2Hand Ministries!

The group will bring ready hands and willing hearts, but they’ll need the snacks to pack, and that’s where you come in.

Here’s how you can help:

Purchase one or all of these items:

  • Single-Serve Packs of Instant Oatmeal
  • Nutrigrain Bars
  • Fruit Cups
  • Quart-Size Ziplock Bags

*All expiration dates on food items must be at least 6 months out.

Return your item[s] to the Welcome Center on Sundays, November 2 or 9, or drop them off at the office Monday–Thursday, 9am–4pm.

Join us for Community Day on Wednesday, November 12, from 1-2:30pm to help pack snack bags and join in the fun!
