Bundle Up Burton
For over a decade, our community has been providing coats, mittens, and hats to Burton Elementary School students, believing that parents should not have to pick between buying diapers for one kiddo or winter gear for another.
This year, we'll continue our partnership with Coats for Kids, a local organization that stocks up on quality coats for a fraction of the price, bringing us more bang for the buck, and more kiddos geared up for winter in #puremichigan.
Here are the ways you can help Bundle Up Burton:
- Give online below now until the end of October.
$25 covers the cost of a coat and $10 covers the cost of a hat and mittens.
100% of your contribution goes to Bundle Up Burton, including some incidental costs. - We're collecting hats and mittens at both Mars Hill locations Oct 6 + 13.
- Coats will be distributed during conferences on Thursday, Oct 24 and Tuesday, Oct 29 and volunteers are needed to help - volunteer link coming soon!
Last year we were able to bundle each one of 439 kids at Burton Elementary as well as several kids from neighboring schools - let's meet that goal again this year!
*Excess coats, hats and mittens will be shared with students at neighboring schools. Thanks to you, every coat gets a kid and every mitten gets a hand.
