Winter Fruit

Jan 28-Apr 1, 2018
Opinions are easy. Formation is hard. Yet, when we surrender and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us into a certain kind of people—people of character, people whose lives make Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Love, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control possible in this day and age—we become to this world a preview of God’s kingdom.

So where do we even begin, when the issues of our day are so divisive, and the ego so fragile? Join us beginning Sunday, Jan 28 for a 9-week series on Winter Fruit, and let’s explore together what it means to tend to the spirit within us for the good of the world.

March PM Gatherings

As children of a creative God, we’re invited to be creative, as well. So during the month of March, we’re experimenting with a Sunday Evening Gathering in downtown Grand Rapids.

All are invited to join us at 5pm on March 4, 11, 18, and 25 at the Ladies Literary Club [61 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503] to take part.

Containing the same teaching as our 9am + 11am Sunday Gatherings, those that attend these 4 evening gatherings would do so in lieu of, versus in addition to, Sunday morning. Each week, it will offer an experience that is at times more liturgical while also leaving plenty of room to follow the spirit’s leading. These gatherings may also be particularly meaningful to those in our community who live and work in the heart of the city. Our pastors and leaders are expectant as they approach this experiment, and can’t wait to see how God will move in new ways in this setting.

CHILD CARE
While this venue will offer greater possibilities in certain areas, one area that will be limited is childcare. 25 spaces for children aged 1-5 years old will be available. Parents may RSVP by the Wednesday prior to ensure availability.

Registration for Sunday, March 4 Coming Soon >

Infants and Elementary children are invited to sit with their parents. [Elementary-age Activity bags will be available]
