Welcome to ECHO, our expanded Middle School ministry. ECHO is a place where middle school students grow and become. Where we seek to reverberate the love of God deep within our hearts and to the hearts of others. And just as echoes multiply, we hope that this ministry would be a place where love and acceptance grows, where fun is infinite, and where adventure is amplified…
In ECHO students, volunteers, and staff spend time every week sharing in laughter, building lasting relationships, discovering how to help make the world a better place, and learning how to respond to Truth. Part of our time together is spent in large group, where any number of things happen—we learn, play, laugh, entertain, focus, and let loose. The rest of our time is spent in our LifeGroups, where we discuss, share, hang out, and build relationships together.
ECHO meets on Sundays, September to May, from 4:30pm-6pm in South Hall Room M2. View our 2018-2019 Mars Hill Students Calendar Now >
Our monthly meet ups of middle school students on Sunday mornings may be called Second Sundays, but they are second to none. In fact, holding this program on the second Sunday, rather than the first, allows us to meet more times throughout the year. So mark your calendars for the second Sunday of each month through April. During our time together, middle school students will explore how they can engage in the Shed experience and participate within the church beyond Sunday mornings. Plus, 5th grade students will be invited into a portion of this experience, so they can prepare well for the transition from Elementary program on Sunday mornings to attending our Shed Gatherings. Sounds pretty awesome, right? We’ll see you at 9am and 11am in the Student Room.
