FAITH + JUSTICE SERIES
Today’s “issues” of injustice aren’t “issues” – they are real people. Join us in considering what opportunities and hurdles there are to loving our neighbors as ourselves, right here in West Michigan.
“Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.” -Talmud
Today’s “issues” of injustice aren’t “issues” – they involve real people. Join us in considering what opportunities and hurdles there are to loving our neighbors as ourselves, whether at our nation’s border or right here in West Michigan. Pick up your copy of Love Undocumented: Risking Trust in a Fearful World by Sarah Quezada, for our opening dialogue. Then join us to continue the book discussion at Treetops Collective [one of our Outreach partners], as well as hear from people in the trenches and see their work in action.
