If you love a compelling story, and long for justice and the thriving of all people, join us for a private screening of Just Mercy at Celebration Cinema North. The film stars Michael B. Jordan and is based on the best-selling non-fiction book Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson which details the injustices faced by marginalized individuals, particularly in the criminal justice system, and provides inspiration and ideas for all of us to join the work for measurable change. This movie is rated PG-13.

Book Club

Join us for a book club discussion of Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. We’ll discuss the first half of the book on Tues., Feb 4, at Mars Hill. Our second half of the book discussion will be on Feb 18 at Next Step of West Michigan, where we will also hear about their mission of helping formerly incarcerated individuals engage in meaningful work in a healing space.
