Throughout the year, our Community Life Team hosts a variety events to help our community learn how to best live into our community and the way of Jesus. Wondering where to begin? Here are a few great places to learn more.

Get Connected Event

What’s your next step? Perhaps you’re interested in growing personally or relationally, but aren’t sure what opportunity or group facilitator would be a good fit for you. Maybe you have questions about our Kids + Students opportunities. Or, maybe you’re ready to jump in! Come talk to staff and volunteer leaders before and after the Gatherings to get info, find help discerning a good fit, and get signed up.

Join us before and after our Gatherings on Sept 17, 2017

Embark [formerly known as Mars Hill Connect]

If you’re desiring a more personal connection with Mars Hill pastors and elders, wondered about Mars Hill’s vision, approach and theology, or need some direction as to what opportunities may be right for you—this gathering is for you.

Men’s Breakfast Series

Whether you are currently employed, retired, or unemployed, you’re invited to join Lead Pastor, AJ Sherrill and former elder, Ross VanKlompenberg, for a series of seasonal Men’s Breakfasts which will explore the holistic meaning of vocation.

Advent Contemplative Retreat

Step away from the noise, craze, and consumerism that often overtake Christmas season. Join us for an intentional time of learning how to notice God’s presence.

Meet Ups

Throughout the year, our Community Life ministry hosts a variety of events for you to gather and connect with others outside of our building. Bring your family and friends, make a few new friends, and let’s enjoy spending time together as a community.

Exploring Leadership

What would it look like for our leaders to begin a rhythm of connecting with and learning from each other? In Spring 2018, AJ and our entire pastoral team will hold our second Exploring Leadership event to find out. If you are a current leader at Mars Hill or interested in exploring a leadership role in our community—come—and let’s calibrate our hearts and dream together about how we can lead our community well in this next chapter of our church.
