Teaching Team [Elementary] VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
On Sunday mornings in Elementary, our Teaching Team works together to serve Kindergarten through 4th graders: building relationships with kids, interacting with them, leading them in prayer, telling Bible stories, and facilitating the events of the morning. This is our largest group of volunteers in this area, and we’d love it if you’d come on board with us!

This team is made up of Storytellers, Shepherds, and Room Leaders. Weekly and bi-weekly serving roles are available, during both the 9am and 11am Gatherings. A pre-serving interview is required, and our volunteers participate in 2-4 trainings per year. Additionally, Room Leaders and Storytellers attend a two-day retreat in the fall.Qualifications/Skills
Storytellers must be able to act out skits, sing along with CDs, and pray with a large group of people. Shepherds must be able to lead a small group of children through a provided lesson. Room Leaders must be able to administer a time schedule, lead others, teach a grade room, and interact with people of all ages [kids, parents, and volunteers].
