House Church Leader VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Help others connect and find belonging, while providing opportunities for people to take next steps on their spiritual journey by leading one of our Mars Hill House Churches. You’ll be part of creating a space where people can live out our shared values together in smaller communities, caring for one another and forming unique expressions of what it means to follow Jesus today.

Serving With
Mars Hill Community Life

Details
House Church leaders help create an atmosphere of comfort and openness through hospitality and basic facilitation. Leaders foster an environment where people are able to grow, heal, and serve in community. Each House Church embraces and lives out Mars Hill’s mission and shared values [Directions] in their own unique context. Both meeting with a Community Life Pastor and attending Leadership Circle are required.

Qualifications/Skills
Effective House Church leaders are typically skilled in one or more of the following: hospitality, organization, communication, pastoral care, facilitating discussion.
