Special Needs Curriculum + Resources
Sundays in our Special Needs classrooms include worship, Bible stories or Bible study, and time spent with caring volunteers. In our Kids + Family Room, kids between age two and sixth grade experience worship, Bible stories, and teaching in Preschool, then are led through a story and small adapted lesson with our Special Needs volunteers. [Special Needs kids who are accompanied by a One-to-One Classmate experience our Preschool and Elementary curriculum on Sundays.]
In our Young Adult/Adult Room, those in seventh grade or older join our community for worship in the Shed, and experience curriculum together, being led by volunteers through a Bible study time.
OTHER RESOURCES FOR PARENTS + FAMILIES
Since we’re often asked to suggest ideas and recommend resources for parents and families, we’ve assembled a listing of books, websites, sources, and other resources. Find out more about impairments, get connected with supportive organizations, and become familiar with new tools for discovering the way of Jesus by checking out these Kids staff recommendations.
