Join Mars Hill for Art + Spirituality, a one-time event the Grand Rapids Art Museum [101 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503] on Friday, June 14 from 6:30-9pm. We’ll begin promptly at 6:30pm in the Cook Auditorium with a teaching by Kent Dobson, then proceed into the museum at 7pm to view the Jansma Collection, and return to the Cook Auditorium at 8:15 for dessert and discussion.

The evening includes free admission to the GRAM, however, you will have the opportunity to contribute a suggested donation of $10 at the door to help cover the costs.

Young Adults Road Trip To TIFF

Many people just watch movies and then
move on with life, never processing the
experience. By intentionally engaging in
discussions about what we are seeing and
hearing, we can learn and grow in significant
ways. So join us for a 4-day plunge into the
art of film at the Toronto International Film
Festival on Sept 12-15. The trip will provide
space for getting to know others from our
community as we discuss how the stories
each film presents interacts with our own
stories, the Biblical narrative, and the many
other stories playing out in our culture. Cost
is $240 before July 1 and includes tickets
to 5 films, transportation, lodging, and

Summer Bible Studies Are Coming

Our program year may have ended on May
19, but wipe those tears Students, there’s
more MHS to come. Fifty6 and The.element
Summer Bible Studies will take place at
Millenium Park from 4-6pm on June 11,
18, and 25. Summer Anthem meets from
7-8:30pm each week at Mars Hill on Wed,
June 12, 19, 26 and July 10, 17, and 24.

Over 1000 kids play, eat, and learn each week
in Mars Hill Kids so as you can imagine,
it’s quite a job to clean up after them. A job
that could perhaps be right for you. This
mid-week role is great for people who need
flexibility in their serving role. Join the
MHK Cleaning Team and help ensure that
all Mars Hill Kids environments are clean
and sanitary when kids arrive on Sunday

Are You A Gadget Geek?

MHS Tech Team Volunteers assist in
various aspects of the weekly programming
production, such as sound + lights, Mac
[ProPresenter], and video editing. Anyone
with experience or a willingness to learn
is encouraged to apply. Serving in this role
takes place on Sunday nights and requires
about 2 hours/week. Learn more at
