Rwanda Water Trip [Fall 2008]
Our Water Team is now accepting applications for a two-week trip that will provide rainwater harvesting systems and sand filters at three Rwanda locations, in conjunction with existing efforts for child sustainability. Hosted by World Relief, this trip will occur in late August or early September [actual dates forthcoming]. Both men and women are invited to apply for this trip—prior construction experience is helpful but not necessary, and we’re looking for one individual with medical experience who can help care for the team. Applicants must be willing to commit to raise $3,500 and attend 12 planning meetings.
