As a community, serving together is a part of the fabric of who we are. Together as the body of Christ, we move outward in response to those in need. Why? Because we were made to care about things larger than ourselves. But also because the way we care for our local and global community says a thing or two about who we are behind closed doors. From journeying with a 5th grader to cutting postcards, from answering phones to helping others find answers to difficult questions, or sitting with them when there is none—we are a community that desires to meet the needs around us. And there is a place for you in that. So we invite you to serve God with us. Learn more about why we do what we do and how you can take part now.
During the 11am Gathering
If you live in a water rich region, it can be hard to understand the need to conserve water. Water shortage? We turn on the tap, and it comes out. Perhaps that’s why Americans consume an average of 575 liters of water a day, while many Rwandans, who have to walk miles to collect their water, only consume 10.
Yet, we all share the world’s water and if consumption continues at its current pace, we will all eventually run out. So let’s do something about that. Join us. Challenge yourself. Or better yet, challenge your family, your friends, and your small group to a little friendly competition with the 20 Liters Water Challenge.
